Authentic Bulgarian traditions and customs have been preserved and performed from ancient times to this day, to remind us of who we are and what our spiritual mission is.
Traditions are our connection to our ancestors and our past, and the bridge that builds our future.
Hamkane is a Bulgarian folk custom associated with the holiday of Cheese and Lent. In this custom, grandmothers tie a red woolen thread to a beam in the ceiling, on which a piece of halva, cheese or boiled egg is hung.
Birthday
Along with the many Bulgarian traditions, the folk dance group "Viti Gaitani" celebrates every year
At the end of each creative season, a mini-concert performance is prepared under the title "Let's preserve the Bulgarian" with which we give the entire community the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Bulgarian folk dances and music and present what the children have learned and their progress.
